The Hotel El Marques is located in the district of San Isidro where many pre-columbian settlements were established.

In the year 1560, Mr. Antonio de Rivera, brought the first olive trees that gave place to the birth of the Olivar Woods.

During the Republic Era, the first housing development extended around The Olivar  Woods along the Conquistadores Av. and of the Arequipa Av.

At the present time

At present, San Isidro has become one of the most important districts. However, in spite of the modernity that characterizes it, it still preserve our native and colonial culture.

Important legacies that, combine the most refined architectonic designs, they turn it into one of Lima’s  most beautiful, traditional and historic districts.

The zone is residential, where green areas predominate, the parks and the shady avenues with centenary trees, but near the most important commercial areas and banking centers exist.

But in spite of the modernity that characterizes it, it still preserves our traditional culture, an important legacy that combine with the more refined architectonic designs, that make it one of Lima's more beautiful, traditional and historic districts.

San Isidro has history and tradition combined with present day modernity, offering our visitors many attractions.
